Sorry!

Hey people!!!

I'm sorry that I can't get stuff posted! I've been really busy with school and my son. (I know I'm too young but he's cute!) I have two overdue essays, a test, and about three quizzes. I haven't been able to read much of the books I've gotten by mail or by email to review. I'm still trying to finish up City of Stairs. Plus me and my family had to take care of my sister(4) because she got stitches on her wrist. I also hurt my foot pretty bad. I'm really stressed out right now, so just give me time. Other than that.... I'm glad that you guys read my posts even if it's just people looking for random blogs and that are bored. :-)

You can always follow me on Instagram or Twitter

City of Stairs Has Arrived!

City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett has just arrived at my house!!! The book looks awesome. I'm gonna start reading it today this afternoon. I hope its as great as the summary says it is! Later I'll post my review when I'm finished. :) Here is the summary if you want to learn more:

The city of Bulikov once wielded the powers of the gods to conquer the world, enslaving and brutalizing millions—until its divine protectors were killed. Now Bulikov has become just another colonial outpost of the world's new geopolitical power, but the surreal landscape of the city itself—first shaped, now shattered, by the thousands of miracles its guardians once worked upon it—stands as a constant, haunting reminder of its former supremacy.

Into this broken city steps Shara Thivani. Officially, the unassuming young woman is just another junior diplomat sent by Bulikov's oppressors. Unofficially, she is one of her country's most accomplished spies, dispatched to catch a murderer. But as Shara pursues the killer, she starts to suspect that the beings who ruled this terrible place may not be as dead as they seem—and that Bulikov's cruel reign may not yet be over.

Finished But Didn't Really Like It

I did't know that this book was the second book in a series, so I got a little lost. I didn't really like, but I did like the choice of words the author used to describe things. I'll try to buy the first book and see if I'll understand it better. Other than that if I did read the first book I'd probably like it. I still recommend it if you have read the first book! :)

Finished with Fiend By Peter Stenson

Fiend takes place during the zombie apocalypse. Most people have mysteriously died in the night, and only some have reanimated as Zombies. The only humans who have survived death and reanimation are meth heads, for reasons unknown. Chase Daniels is a meth head. He survives along with his friend Typewriter, the love of his life KK, her boy friend Jared, and their dealer/cook The Albino. All are speed freaks. This does not bode well for the future of humanity.

This book really surprised me. I loved the characters and the setting. Peter Stenson took the zombie apocalypse to a whole new level. I loved the great choice of words. I actually don't like anything about zombies, but I decided to give this book a try and I really liked it! :) I really recommend this book to you guys.

Orange Sky!

Yesterday around 6:30pm. The sky was a beautiful golden orange! I loved it so much! Baby Leo was also staring up at the sky, but when the ugly gray clouds took over he started to cry. I hope the sky turns orange again this afternoon. If it does, then I'll try to post a pic on here so everybody can see. Well anyway, thank you so much for reading this post!( Even if it's short)
